The aunts were delighted with their washing line bowls (although there is clearly a translation problem!)
And our host loved his shirt quilts
(I did hand sew bunting on the plane for the party - thank you Amo!!!)
I started this blog for me - it expanded to show BFF Jackie what I was doing - and a few others have invited themselves too - everybody welcome! Mostly about patchwork, with random comments about embroidery, family and life in general, come on in, put your feet up, and I'll put the [virtual] kettle on.
Looks like a fab get together! The lighthouse quilt is amazing. Glad the bunting went 'international'! Lol.
ReplyDeleteyou must have had a wonderful time in Norway, and good to see the lighthouse quilt delivered safe and sound, liking the alternative use of the baskets and the shirt quilt looks super too
ReplyDeleteGlad to see all your hard work was well received xx
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwwwww what a fun post and what great pictures! I can't stop laughing at the bowl hat head!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you all had a brilliant time. Your lighthouse quilt looks amazing and I see the bowl hats were very well received! I also love the glimpses of that beautiful house with its red paint and turf roof. It looks like a most wonderful place for your gifts to 'live'. I'd like to live there myself! :)
ReplyDeleteHurray!
