I've also had a bit of a play with the remainder of the blue Elmer's glue, sort of "batik meets zentangles". The glue takes a while to dry ...
And then I started to paint it, I'm rather liking this, I think it will make a decent infinity scarf
I started this blog for me - it expanded to show BFF Jackie what I was doing - and a few others have invited themselves too - everybody welcome! Mostly about patchwork, with random comments about embroidery, family and life in general, come on in, put your feet up, and I'll put the [virtual] kettle on.
I love the vibrant colours:-)

ReplyDeleteyou soon got Ely`s quilt made. Your glue batik has worked well and loving the colours you are using on it it will make a lovely scarf, is it silk or cotton fabric
ReplyDeleteThere are so many crafts - and so little time to try them all! Well done for having a go at everything!
ReplyDeleteLucky Eli and Ely ... I spy, with my little eye, something YOGIBEAR! :) The "zen-tik" design is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteNever tried that,very interesting
ReplyDeleteYou've had a busy week! Both the Eli and Ely quilts look great and the Elmers glue technique is clever. That is going to make a very nice scarf :)
