These designs have been messaged to me to see if they can be digitised - and I've had great fun!
I also did a design for the lovely Amo
It progressed from this
to this
to this!
It's a gift for a friend whose birthday is this week - she has just learnt to crochet so I'm stealing a suggestion from Jackie and making a pouch for her crochet hook collection she will inevitably now start to buy
And my final creative photos today are from me dragging the family out to a pottery lesson! Luckily they enjoyed it more than they expected and we've chosen 7 to be glazed and fired and collected in a month or so
Hope you had a fun weekend too!
Glad to be of help with my suggestion and looking forward to making one myself. Pottery looks great fun!
ReplyDeleteGreat pouch, Benta. Not sure I could cope with that zip though.
ReplyDeleteThe pottery looks great fun. How exciting waiting for it to be fired!

Looks like addictive fun.
ReplyDeleteYour spectrum of crafts is so wide and diverse! I’m jealous as I dont venture much out of the sewing arena.
ReplyDeleteThose pots look very professional Benta :)
ReplyDeleteMy Friend Benta ... has a pimp! HEEHEE!! Yes, I'm a 12 year old boy masquerading as a 55 year old woman :D
ReplyDeleteYou've been having some good clean (well, clean for a woman with a pimp, anyways!) crafty fun - congrats on the new leads for embro jobs :) Sweet zipper pouch - I think I may have recently pinned a tutorial for either that exact bag, or one very similar to it :D I collect selvages as well - I made blocks for a quilt top with some of them (the blocks have been ripening for a while now), and haven't picked a project for the rest. I suspect, with my love of zippers, that selvage zipper pouches of some sort are in my future - selvages are sooo pretty!
That's good that you have an agent/pimp now :) Your pouch looks great and the pottery must have been fun :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I’m over the moon with the rescue patches! The potting is fab. Well done. Used to love getting a bit mucky myself back in the day.
