and lots of fun, chat, food and just a few drinks with these lovely ladies.
Such random stuff
but some of it I fancy trying
This cork pencil wrap was lovely and simple - and was selling for 148 Euro!!!!
I really like this simple clay design
And thought this was a great toy teaching so many things - matching, balancing, counting, colour recognition . . .
Mount Etna was having a little puff, but otherwise the skies were blue
As was our little apartment
I've been thinking about ideas for next year's Chertsey Museum classes: Separated (not EPP) hexies
Using crochet with fabric
I thought these might make good mega Dorset buttons
And can I do anything fabric related with these? I have 13 and a tea light just fits inside!
Looks like you had a lovely break Benta, I have never visited Sicily so thanks for the tour :)
ReplyDeleteYou could wrap those glasses in lace or ribbon but other than that I am out of fabric-related ideas, sorry!
Looks like a lovely place with lots of inspiration. Looking forward to seeing your cork pencil wrap version (I'm sure that there will be one!).
ReplyDeleteI'm always a fan of tissue dipped in PVA glue to cover flat surfaces - don't know if that (or fine fabric) would work over glass or not, though. I'm sure that you'll come up with something fancy (alcohol inks if nothing else!). xx
Sicily looks wonderful and I love the crochet/fabric combinations :)
ReplyDelete148€!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe weather looked fab. I love the cork pencil wrap, we can definitely make them, maybe for my knitting needles/crochet hooks.
