This evening I had the house to myself, so I chopped the fabric for the charm square swap while I listened to "the help" on audio book.
I was having such a lovely time I then started chopping more of my new fabrics into 5" and 8" squares ready for more I-spy quilts. A lovely evening

ReplyDeleteWelcome back. This is a lovely way to spend an evening (ohh I feel a song coming on). I too loved the book 'The Help' - just read 'Gilead' bt Marylyn Robinson (it has two offshoots - 'Home' and 'Housekeeping' and loved them too) - kept me occupied on holiday.

ReplyDeleteOh I'm a bag of nerves with charm cutting. End up really stiff and sore. But it sure is handy to have charms of your stash... gets you stuck in using it quicker!!!
