2017 Wk 34 Crafty Church

Despite this being the busy holiday period, we had pretty much our usual quota of ladies at Crafty Church this weekend. We had a variety of crafts:

I took advantage of the big tables to speed date some strips for a "use up the fabric" quilt,

There was lots of knitting going on

And Carolyn started off a blanket for me

Lesley and her sister Alex had been to Fesitval of Quilts and brought back some great gadgets:

This one for making bows

And this (awful photo, sorry) of a needle threader WITH A LIGHT!!!

Apart from that, I've been working on customer orders which seem to be arriving quicker than I can

  1. liking the idea of a threader with a light I got an unpicker with a light that is sure to come in handy. Good space for laying out your quilting could do with that for the 43 quilts still waiting to be sandwiched. Enjoy the crochet

  2. Your quilt is going to be nice and I love all the knitting going on. That yellow cardigan is wonderful and I like the furry knitting someone is doing. The bow maker looks interesting and I'm looking forward to watching your crochet grow :)

  3. I need to make about 107 use up the fabric quilts - I went looking for something this morning and had to dig through my multiple boxes of fabrics - it was rather jaw-dropping! A threader with a light?! I bet a woman came up with that!
