I took my (main) machine in for a service, and while I was there I accidentally bought some fabric - who knew there was a danger of such a thing!
And yesterday, after the family learning class I popped into the shops in Windsor and kind of drifted towards C&H fabrics, where I remembered I had a gift card from the parents when I left school . . . ooops, seventeen fat quarters later I have NO gift card left!!!! But lots of yummy solids!!!
Today I used some of them and made myself a triple zipped pouch - it made me very happy!!
When will I next get time to sew?
Such pretty fabrics and a lovely pouch
ReplyDeleteThat purchase doesn't actually count - you traded in your machine and they gave you fabric - it seems like they got the better end of the deal, really! I bet if you ask nicely they'll give it back to you shortly ... it may cost you a few dollars in ransom but it'll be worth it ;) Very pretty triple zip - that's fun fabric, and I love the tri-coloured zips :D
ReplyDeleteI start working 7days/week next week so I commiserate with you about time to sew. And when I do have a chance, what I manage to make makes me deliriously happy. Fabric retail therapy is right up there as well.
ReplyDeletesome lovely fabrics you have there and the pouch will be so useful. Shame I cannot share all the spare time I have with you, being retired it is hard to fill the days especially as I am usually up by 5am
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling, as of late, about not getting any sewing done! Kudos on the bag. Really cute!
ReplyDeleteLovely triple zip Benta! I am with Sandra on the fabric buying not counting too, gift cards don't count as spending :)
ReplyDeleteYour purse looks great and I'm not sure the fabric buying was an accident - it sounds like fate! Those fabrics were just meant to go home with you :)
