My Blogger page tells me I'm nearly at 1000 posts - Yes One Thousand!
I thought I'd do a little give away to celebrate that I've stuck with this since June 2010 and that at least one person has commented on each and every post!
I've made something - it's useful, a bit old fashioned, small enough to fit in a handbag, and incredibly labour intensive - I wont be making another one!
This is all you get in the way of clues!
Do you want a chance of having it? With maybe a few extra goodies thrown in your general direction? No hoops to jump through: just add a comment and I'll randomly select one of you!
I think this post will be #991: I'll draw the winner's name on post #1000 which I guess will be middle of January. Good luck everyone
(If you are a no-reply blogger please make sure I can get hold of you)
I started this blog for me - it expanded to show BFF Jackie what I was doing - and a few others have invited themselves too - everybody welcome! Mostly about patchwork, with random comments about embroidery, family and life in general, come on in, put your feet up, and I'll put the [virtual] kettle on.
1,000 posts that is impressive Benta, well done you! Like the sneak peek too :)
ReplyDeleteImpressive to get to 1000. I think Hadley has you beat with her post every day system! I've been doing this since 2009 and I'm only at 660. I like the idea of a mystery prize. A button, some lace and a blanket stitch.....
ReplyDeleteCurioser and curioser!
ReplyDeleteWell you've been nattering away just a bit less time than me but at three times the speed! Very impressive! Lol x
ReplyDeleteI like the clues to your prize and I am curious to see what it could be. I'd love a chance to win, if you are including international readers.
ReplyDeletehave not a clue what your clue is trying to tell us! nearly 1000 posst that is pretty amazing I have nt been following you all that time but do enjoy seeing what you are up to and loved meeting you in Birmingham last year
ReplyDeleteHi Benta! Wow, that's worth of celebrating - congratulations! Thank you for sharing your mystery prize! Hugs! x Teje

ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't got a clue either but it's got dots and I love dots!!
And I thought I did good at 300, lol. 1000 posts is a lot! And I've enjoyed a lot of them.
ReplyDeleteHave enjoyed many of those posts. Would be thrilled if I were a winner.
ReplyDeleteVery intriguing! I bet you've just given us clues so that you can keep the labour intensive wonder for yourself and give away something similar but in the same fabric......or perhaps you are a nicer person than me, coz I'm sure that's what I'd do! :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on reaching almost 1000 posts, Benta. You keep very busy and it's an enjoyable blog to read. I haven't a clue what the useful item is, very intriguing.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what this is but many congratulations on 1000 posts. I wonder if I might get to that in about ten years...
