We spent an evening with our God Daughter (Rosie, age 13) and her parents: There is a long standing joke about Brian's sheds - so Rosie made us a third shed for Christmas . . .
Isn't it fab. The walls and roof is made by pouring melted chocolate into a mould, but the icicles, the snow in the windows, and the roof tiles are all her own work. My main concern is that I'll be the size of a house by the time it's all gone!
I've shown you the pouch that Annabelle gave me for Christmas, and I've told you about my plans to do some mini hexies, well the pouch is ideal to hold the project
And here is the first flower! (Yes the cutting board squares are 1 inch squares)
I started this blog for me - it expanded to show BFF Jackie what I was doing - and a few others have invited themselves too - everybody welcome! Mostly about patchwork, with random comments about embroidery, family and life in general, come on in, put your feet up, and I'll put the [virtual] kettle on.
Wow....you could make a tiny quilt for your chocolate shed with pieces that small! Amazing.
ReplyDeletethere is small .... and then there is TINY!! I think this qualifies xx
ReplyDeleteGood grief you'll be cross-eyed with those hexies!
ReplyDeleteGoodness me - they are TINY! Are you using any specially thin fabric or thread? How big do you plan to make the finished quilt? First rosette looks great! xx
ReplyDeleteExcellent teenies and fab shed x
ReplyDeleteOh Benta - this cannot be good for your eyes! Glad the purse is useful. Sadly I am not a fan of anything sweet but the house looks cute - aren't kids amazing?
ReplyDeleteThey are so tiny....and so neat. Looking forward to seeing this project develop.
