And now I've done a block for March's entry for the calendar quilt.
I got married in March (nearly 25 years ago!!!) and although I had silk flowers in my bouquet, we had fresh daffodils on the tables at the reception: I love daffodils, and am really pleased how these have turned out.
I started this blog for me - it expanded to show BFF Jackie what I was doing - and a few others have invited themselves too - everybody welcome! Mostly about patchwork, with random comments about embroidery, family and life in general, come on in, put your feet up, and I'll put the [virtual] kettle on.
OMG at this rate it will be Christmas before we even see a daffodil x
ReplyDeleteYour daffodils are brilliant! I picked up a pot of them for my aunt when they moved in December, and they actually bloomed! Love them!
ReplyDeletePretty!
ReplyDeleteI love the daffodils!
ReplyDeleteMarch already! You gave me a shock when I saw that in my blog list! These daffodils are really beautiful. Your calendar is going to be great :)
ReplyDeleteMe too! Married on March 28, 1987. I was supposed to have daffodils in my bouquet, but it didn't happen. I look forward to seeing their sunny blooms each spring.
